(DELAWARE, Ohio)—Capital University senior offensive lineman Steve Leppert (Cincinnati/Princeton) has been named to the ESPN The Magazine Football Academic All-District IV First Team.
Leppert moves on to the national Academic All-American ballot. Sports Information Directors from the district (all NCAA Division II, III and NAIA institutions in Michigan, Ohio, Kentucky, Tennessee and Alabama) nominate players with selections moving on to the Academic All-American ballot. In order to be nominated a student-athlete must be a starter or key reserve that has at least a 3.20 cumulative grade point average.
On the field, Leppert is a starting offensive lineman for a Crusader team that is statistically ranked 25th in the nation in total offense and 7th in scoring offense at 38.7 points per game. Off the field, Leppert is a Management and Marketing major and boasts a 3.90 G.P.A.
