WOW! I cannot believe it's almost Thanksgiving! This semester is almost over. That seems crazy to me. I am excited about going back to good ole' Hillsboro, Ohio for a few days, because sometimes I miss that town I couldn't wait to get out of. Sometimes, it's the smallest things you miss, but for the most part I'm happy right here at Capital. I have tons of work to do before the end of the semester. I think this is the most stressful time - with exams, projects, and research papers. But, hey, it's not all that bad. I have a speech on Monday for Oral Communication and I'm meeting with my Professor to "workshop" the speech, which means I can get some constructive criticism from her before i present it, which I find SO helpful. I get so nervous about giving speeches and that helps alot. I turned in my first big research paper yesterday, which is really exciting because I went to CELT(the tutoring place) for help with format and organization and it really helped, and I feel like I spent alot of time on this paper. We had a hall meeting last night about what to do before you leave for break, such as turning off appliances and throwing away open food- that could end up pretty gross. Then, I watched Grey's Anatomy. I love that show along with House and America's Next Top Model. If I get only one break - that is where my time goes. Well, this was a short blog. I can't wait to eat some turkey on Thurday!
Adios!
