So...
Today was thanksgiving.
I'm home.
I'm happy.
I got here Tuesday night.
But yeah.. I've been having fun since nationals...
Wednesday night there was Karaoke in the cru club. My friends Andy and Sam did "bohemian rhapsody." It was hillarious!!
Last weekend I went to Akron on Saturday night to visit my friends Holly and Kelly.
Holly goes to school there and Kelly is in a winterguard there so they spend the weekends there.
It was a lot of fun! We watched the OSU game and got pizza..
afterwards we went ice skating, with two other girls Holly goes to school with. We had to go over to Kent State because they were the closest rink that was open. I hadn't been ice skating in forever. I wanna go again soon.
After that we had a dance party... went and got ice cream.. and had another dance party. Then we went to bed because they had guard at 9 sunday morning.
So yeah... I went back to Cap on Sunday afternoon and slept a lot. and then Steven and I had our usually Sunday night cru club meeting.
Monday and Tuesday seemed to go on forever!!
But once I was finally home... oh man...
::sigh::
It's wonderful. I knew I missed home.. and I knew I was homesick.. but it really hit me once I got here.
Tuesday night I went and got coffee with my friends Kate and Mandy. We ran into my friend Rachel (who goes to Kent and who I saw on Saturday).
And then after that I just kind of drove around... being all happy to be home!
Last night was fun too.
I was originally gonna have Holly and Kelly come over because Holly's going out of town all break until late Saturday.
But then my friend Matt asked if he, Charles, Dan, and Meghan could come over too.
Of course!!
So that was fun hanging out with all of them.
It was also fun singing christmas carols with my friend Shane on the phone while I waited for them to get there. lol.
I miss these people so much.
I mean.. I love my cap friends... but... I don't know...
I miss the ole' Avon gang.
Today was Thanksgiving. We didn't go over to my aunt's till about four. We ate. A lot. And then we had dessert. It was spectacular. After that we went to my step-aunt's. More dessert. Yay!
Then I came home, and had to babysit. I tried to start my poli-sci paper. ::sigh::
yeah...
I have a lot to do on that.
But for now...
I'm going to bed!
