The Midwest Campus Compact Citizen-Scholar (M3C) Fellows Program $1,000 Scholarship Opportunity
The Community Service & Leadership Development Office, in collaboration with Ohio Campus Compact, is pleased to announce a scholarship opportunity for current Capital students. The Midwest Campus Compact Citizen-Scholar (M3C) Fellows Program provides $1,000 tuition waivers to low-income, first generation Capital students who complete 300 hours of community service activities throughout the 2008-2009 academic year.
Selection criteria include:
- Answers to application questions
- Financial need
- Current cumulative GPA of 2.5 or above
Benefits of serving as a Scholar for this program include the following:
- Scholars will be provided with consultation and feedback, as well as service opportunities, at weekly cohort meetings by the Program Coordinator.
- Program Coordinator will maintain an open door policy and create a safe space to fully support students and to maximize participant service experiences.
- Scholars will be provided with quality service experiences and effective reflection opportunities.
- By participating in this program, Scholars will become more connected to their community, fellow Scholars, America Reads tutors, and staff in the Community Service and Leadership Development Office.
- This program will provide those students who complete all requirements with additional financial support toward their Capital University tuition.
