last Thursday night I came home for winter break. Why Thursday night? because my last final wasn't until 3pm on Thursday afternoon. Lucky me!
The drive home wasn't too bad.
I didn't get stuck in any ditches this time.
I should explain that.
I went home the weekend after thanksgiving for a funeral and on my way home it was rainy and dark and gross and awful. I get off the highway and my exit is all muddy because they're doing construction there. The road was slippery. I lost control of the car. I ended up having to get towed out of a ditch. It could have been worse. I could have ended up in the cement barrier. So, in that sense I was very very lucky.
But back to break...
my friend Joe'l drove home with me because she lives in Buffalo and that saved her mom five hours of driving. [plus I didn't have to drive two and a half hours by myself.] We watched 'Office Space.' [she wanted to know why when they said 'bring home all valuables' I brought my red swingline home] She totally understands now.
I'm back at Gamestop. I'm sooo happy about it. I missed working there.
I've been pretty much just... hanging out with my best friend Holly, and practicing. [I like how I'm practicing so much... and I'm not a music kid anymore.]
Last night I went to the Midview High School choir concert... aaamazing! I loved it.
I went with my other best friend, Shane. [He and I were in our high school talent show last year and our piano player is a senior at Midview this year.]
Hm..
I bought a new white headband today. Most of the kids at cap know that's a big deal. I just wanted to let everyone know.
I guess this is the end...
