Well. My last class of the day, of the week, and of the entire year just ended. I just finished my Biology Lab Exam. I still have three exams next week, but the official last day of classes is TODAY! I am so excited to have finished my first year here at Capital! Don't get me wrong, I've loved this year, but to be finished with a full year is something to be happy about.
First, a big thank you to all that have read my blog this year and made comments =). During the year, a lot has changed. I've met so many different and interesting people, made a ton of new friends, given college tours, lived with a roommate ( I'll miss you this summer, EMILY!), possibly added a major - English (Professional Writing) to be exact, got a job at Huckleberry House, ate Capital Court food, decided to live in Columbus this summer( bye bye hometown of Hillsboro), became Student Social Work Assoc. Vice Pres., became slightly more involved in politics and most importantly, learned a lot about myself.
My roommate and I came up with this list:
To the Capital University Class of 2011:
Things We've Learned at College:
1. mattress pads = good night's sleep
2. extra fans in Lohman Complex = non-sweaty girls
3. stay up late, sleep in, you're in college now
4. The Bexley Library has FREE movie rentals
5. Coffee becomes a food group
6. Umbrellas are a must.
7. Extensive door decorations on Birthdays are MANDATORY!
8. Study early, study often.
9. Laundry does not do itself. Don't wait until you're wearing that last pair of socks that have Santa Claus on them!
10. Your life in college is like Ohio's Weather - lost of changes = )
Have a Nice Day!
Adios
