Music is high-tech at Capital, making Mees and Bexley halls phenomenal places to train. You’ll study in well-equipped classrooms and have access to choir and band rehearsal spaces and 30 practice rooms of varying sizes. Plus you’ll enjoy close attention from your professors with a student/faculty ratio of 4:1.
- Learn the latest techniques in electronic music, studio work and recording treatment through classes in our technologically advanced electronic/recording studio.
- Train on music software in the TechSpace 138, containing 18 music workstations consisting of spectacular 24-inch iMac computers, MIDI keyboards, Pro Tools, Digital Performer and Reason.
- Take advantage of a full-complement of on-campus instruments, both acoustic and electronic, including an 18 station digital keyboard lab.
- Enjoy the sounds of the stunning Paul W. and Ella D. Hugus Memorial Pipe Organ in Mees Auditorium. It features three manuals, 70 ranks and more than 4,000 pipes.
