Kerns Religious Life Center
Learn in a community that welcomes diverse faiths and values ethics, religion and spirituality. Capital University’s strong Lutheran tradition creates an environment of freedom and community, encouraging students to ask big questions and give deeper meaning to their liberal arts education.
- You’ll have tremendous opportunities for faith-based clubs and activities, such as taking retreats in area churches, participating in Monday night Bible study, joining the Gospel choir, discussing popular films from a spiritual perspective, taking mission trips, working with local youth groups and attending special events such as the CROP Walk.
- On-campus Lutheran worship services occur several nights a week in Kable Chapel, as well as Wednesday morning chapel service attended by students and faculty.
- One Sunday evening every month, Kable Chapel hosts a Catholic Mass.
- The university pastor is always available to discuss spiritual and personal issues.
