Corps 2006 - The First Year Student Organization

CORPS 2005 is designed to assist in the transition and adjustment of new students at Capital University. The organization’s goals are to provide leadership opportunities for new students, assist in the adjustment process to campus life and encourage students to become involved in campus organizations. Members sponsor and assist with a number of activities throughout the year, including the Student Organizations Fair, Homecoming, a Halloween program, the Christmas Tree Lighting, CapFest, and various community service projects. In addition, members represent first-year students to Student Government.

University Programing

University Programming is the main social programming organization at Capital. Because University Programming is in charge! University Programming is a student organization dedicated to providing consistent, quality, creative and diverse programs for Capital students. It is a board comprised of students who want to make a difference!

U.P. brings live bands, comedians, ventriloquists and novelty acts to campus, for Wicked Wednesday programs. Be sure to check out our semi-annual block parties as well! We also run major University events such as Back at Cap Week, Homecoming and Kids' and Sibs' Weekend. And, of course, we bring great programs to campus every Wednesday to help you get a little Wicked….

It is easy to become involved with UP! University Programming is always looking for fun and creative students to serve on our Volunteer Board! As a volunteer, you have the opportunity to help the board members work all these fun and exciting programs.

You get to enjoy the fun and be a part of it all!
