Community Programs

Capital is a private university. But we also offer programs that are open to residents of Bexley and the greater Columbus community. We enrich the city we call home through:

• Summer athletic camps for children and teenagers in grades 1–12
  
  
• The Conservatory Preparatory Division offers vocal, wind instrument, percussion and piano lessons for pre-college and adult students.
  
  
• An English as a Second Language (ESL) program for adults
   
• Summer academic programs that are open to non-Capital students
  
  
• Summer music programs for a variety of instruments
  
  
• The Community Reading Center , sponsored by Capital's Education Department provides reading tutoring sessions for students in grades kindergarten through 12.
  
  
• Hire our students through our Crusader Careers program.
  
  
• Capital University's Office of Meeting and Event Services proudly offer a complete line of services and facility rentals for conferences, meetings and special events.
