Not Just Another Year

When I first realized I was getting ready to start my second year of college I thought, "No biggie. Sophomore year isn't going to be anything special." I was wrong. Sophomore year is proving to be great not only for the simple fact that I feel so at home here at Cap now, but I feel a great sense of accompishment having made it to another year of school. Alot of things have changed for me lately. I'm a commuter this year (I got special permission, 1st and 2nd years are usually required to live on campus), I'm becoming more involved on campus and my classes are so much more interesting to me this year. This is because I've got two social work classes and a counseling psychology class, two things I'm very intersted in. I also have Intro to Religion, which is a thought-provoking class, to say the least. I'm working alot (gotta pay for that apartment). I work at Huckleberry House, a teen crisis center and it's amazing. Columbus has given me so many opportunities to really find myself and I think its working. I'm getting some really good experience and have one more reason to stick with my intended major! So. Thats my second year so far. Anyone is welcome to shoot me an email with any questions. It's trichard@capital.edu. Until later. Peace out.
