(TIFFIN, Ohio) -- Senior middle hitter Jessie Hampson (Lancaster/Lancaster) tallied 20 kills, 18 digs and seven blocks, but Capital University's volleyball team dropped an Ohio Athletic Conference match 3-2 Saturday at Heidelberg College in Tiffin.
The Crusaders had a two games to one lead after winning game one 30-23 and game three 30-27. But Heidelberg rallied by taking the fourth and fifth games.
Junior Jackie Helm (Lancaster/Fisher Catholic) had nine kills and 27 digs, sophomore Sarah Gallik (Chagrin Falls/Kenston) added nine kills and 15 digs, and junior Kara Guster (Orrville/Orrville) led the Crusaders with 27 assists.
Capital, which fell to 17-8 (2-3 OAC), will return to action with a 7 p.m. match Tuesday against John Carroll University.
