Hey everyone! My name is Caitlin, and I'm a first-year student here at Capital! I’m a Spanish and International Studies double-major and I commute to Cap from my hometown- good ‘ol Groveport, Ohio. I graduated valedictorian from Groveport Madison High School and I’ll always be proud to be a Cruiser! Our whole town is SO excited because my high school football team is going to the playoffs for the first time in 20 years (that’s right, 20!), so GO CRUISERS! BEAT THE BEARCATS! :)
Though I started as a Cruiser, I’ve quickly transitioned into a Crusader! Ultimately, I chose Cap because of the small campus and tight-knit community it offers. Although my graduating class was fairly large, I knew that a big campus just wasn't going to work for me. Capital's campus is also very beautiful, especially in the fall. It's also very entertaining if you're easily amused like me and my friend Ashley- weaving in and out of people just to step on the crunchy leaves! haha I’m really enjoying the classes I’m taking this semester, especially my Spanish class. Who would’ve guessed, huh? I scheduled my second-semester classes just a few weeks ago, so I’m getting really excited about those as well!
I guess that’s all for now kiddos. I’ll be back shortly with more fun! Until then… adios!
Caitlin
p.s. I know my parents will spread this around, so hi to all my family who is reading this! I love you all!
