(AUSTINTOWN, Ohio)---Capital University junior defensive end Nick Sadler (Lima/Lima Shawnee) was named Ohio Athletic Conference Football Defensive Player of the Week for his efforts in the Crusaders' 19-13 win over Muskingum College last Saturday in New Concord.
Sadler posted nine tackles on the afternoon, six of which were for loss. He also collected four of the team's eight sacks and forced two fumbles. Sadler iced the game for the Crusaders with a sack and forced fumble on Muskingum's final drive of the game. On the season, Sadler has 19 tackles, 11 for loss and six sacks.
Sadler, a business management major, is the son of Mitch Sadler and JoLynn Lafferty.
