Hey everyone! Hope you're all staying warm, it's getting pretty chilly here at Cap! & the sad thing is, the cold has only begun... sigh.
So, let me update you!!
Last weekend was awesome! On Saturday morning, I woke up bright and early and arrived at Cap at 7:30 am to greet about 500 prospective Capital students. (With coffee in hand, no doubt!)It was a very different experience being on the other side of an Open House, considering only a few short months ago, I was that senior in high school who was visiting. It was awesome meeting all the students interested in Cap & showing them around, and I hope they enjoyed it as much as I did! :) (I also enjoyed getting my amazing purple ambassador shirt!) Later that afternoon, I went to my high school's first playoff game in 20 years, and WE WON! yay! So we're off to play Hilliard Darby this Saturday! :)
Sunday I got to sleep in... which is one of my favorite things to do! :) I wrote my English paper that was due today and just stayed in my PJ's all day. Which was amazing!
BUT! My weekend was even more amazing because all my football teams won!! My Groveport Cruisers, Capital Crusaders, Ohio State Buckeyes & Pittsburgh Steelers all came out on top... and that makes for one happy Caitlin!
This weekend, I get to look forward to more football and writing a paper for my global awareness class. I also need to study for Spanish & health. So I'll be a busy bee for the next couple days!
