It. Is. Cold. Outside.
Brr!
Today began the last week of the semester... well, minus finals week. I can't believe how fast the time went, and more importanly, how much I learned these past few months. I was just asking my friend Nick yesterday if he thought his school was worth it. (He does online classes through the University of Advancing Technology out of Arizona.) He was kind of in between, saying that he already knew alot of what he had been taught this semester, and he was hoping it would get better next semester. It was then that it hit me just how thankful I am to be at Capital. I have never doubted for a second wether I belong here or if I am spending my (and my parent's) money wisely. I think that moment was the extra push I needed to finish up my 10 page English paper also. haha
So speaking of English papers, these last few weeks of classes have been pretty stressful. I've had 3 papers due and 4 tests in the last 2 weeks. Not that I'm complaining... I like the challege. haha I just had to get really good at time-management and prioritizing really fast! :) I hope that all of you readers are enjoying your last few weeks of high school or college ot wherever you may be before your holiday break. December my be a stressful time of the year, but don't let it get to you. The holidays are right around the corner... and so is all the food! :)
I'm really excited because a few of my friends and I are going to the zoo tomorrow night to see the lights & go ice skating. The Columbus Zoo always puts up lights and serves hot chocolate, AMAZING roasted almonds, and they have an ice skating rink. This year the skating rink is decorated with Disney princesses, or so I've been told. :) I love all Disney princesses (especially Ariel) so this is exciting for me! haha It's going to be a fun, but very cold, night!!
We also found out last night that Ohio State is playing LSU in the National Championship in January. & the countdown begins. GO BUCKS!
To all the high school seniors... WOO! You made it half-way to graduation! :) Congratulations, the worst is over! Don't catch that icky senioritis though, it's contagious!
Have a great week everyone, and be safe!
Caitlin
