Hello Again!
Well, the semester is finally on its last day, and next week finals begin. But, that’s not what is on my mind. I am looking past all of the papers, tests, and projects and getting ready to head out to North Carolina and reunite with all of my camp counselor friends. I worked at a Lutheran summer camp this summer called Agape where I made life long friends, had an amazing time, and got paid all at the same time! What I am also excited about is that I found a round-trip ticket on Skybus for only $70!!! Yeah that’s right…I am going to North Carolina for about the cost of a video game! Oh the life of pinching pennies and making the most of every dollar, it has almost become an extracurricular in my life.
This weekend is going to be a pretty easy one to stash back some cash and not worry about any expenses, as I will probably sit in my room and study, sleep, and stress. But, it’s all good, because I will be going to our University Programming Christmas Party Saturday afternoon and then that evening I am going ice skating with all of the other Senators on Student Government and it’s no cost to me!!! Ha ha, again saving money has become an extracurricular and I am taking advantage of it and I will be in NC before I know it! (That’s what I keep telling myself!)
As the semester comes to a close I find myself thinking about how fast this semester went and wondering what is in store for me in the Spring of ’08! Hopefully, more good times, less work, and new faces to get to know and welcome into the Cap Family! Enjoy the Holidays, and safe travels to anyone with vacation destinations in mind! HAPPY HOLIDAYS!
