Hey everyone! Hope that your holidays & new years celebrations were as amazing as mine were! :)
Alot has been going on since my last blog. First of all, Christmas came! :) I got alot of cool stuff from my family & friends, my favorites being a down vest from my uncle, the newest Nicholas Sparks book from my momma (that I finished December 26th!) and, everyone's favorite, $$$! My uncle also gave me his unused PS2, so now all I have to do is buy guitar hero 3 and I'm all set!
I also moved on campus January 6th. Don't get me wrong, I loved commuting, but I felt that my freshman year of college should be about new experiences & meeting new people, and I couldn't think of a better way to do both of those things than live there! It took an entire week of packing, 8 boxes, and 4 people but I'm moved in and on campus & I'm loving every second! My roomie is amazing & all the girls in my hall have been so friendly & welcoming.
I have also started my second semester at Capital, which is amazing! At this time last year, I was a senior in high school, and now I'm working on becoming a sophomore in college. Time really does fly! My classes are going to be pretty interesting this semester, I have begun my International Studies major; I'm taking International Relations & an International Studies seminar. I'm also taking Spanish 230, Honors Religion and Oral Communications. All my teachers are great, and every single one of them gave out their email addresses and phone numbers. I don't know about you, but knowing that my college professor is only a phone call away if I need help makes me feel a lot better about homework!
My boyfriend & I also went to see Juno at the Drexel theatre across the street from campus over break. It's really cute, I give it 4 stars! Next on my list is Charlie Wilson's War & Atonement,does anyone know if they're good or not?
