Wow, is it really the end of January already?
So here are a few updates and such:
--Recruitment is going fantastically! I started my second week of recruitment off with the ladies of Zeta Pi Lambda, with a ‘blue carpet’ themed night. It was certainly a great night, I really am starting to feel the bonds of sisterhood that these ladies share. Tonight I will go see the ladies of Chi Theta Pi, and tomorrow, Pi Phi Epsilon. And then Thursday holds the ominous invitations to third week parties!! : O It is nervewracking, let me tell you. But such a great experience!
--I finally went to the Cap Center last night to work out! The HD TVs on the workout machines are awesome! I watched America’s Next Top Model and the State of the Union address (how’s that for a combination?), all while using the stair master and running on the treadmill. I felt a lot better about myself getting in there and working out. And its so nice that its available to me without paying for it, like a regular gym.
--Classes are going well. Midterms are on the horizon, but I’m not toooo worried…yet.
--We are finally calling accepted students on the communications team! I am so excited, because it means in a few months, we will have a few hundred new students to add to the Cap Family! Yay, future Capital class of 2012!
……wait, that means I’m going to be a sophomore…in college! Ahhhhhhh!!!
--And, I guess I’ll throw in the fact that my birthday is on Thursday…19!!!!!! I’m so pumped!
Well, I guess that’s it. I’m on to finish some stuff up, and then to see the ladies of Chi!
Remember, if you have any questions, please don’t hesistate to ask! That’s what I’m here for! :D
Love and happiness,
<3 heather
PS. I’m slightly upset that Miss Michigan won. I really wanted Miss Wisconsin to win. Anyone who can play a musical instrument that well in my book is golden.
