(COLUMBUS, Ohio) – The Ohio Collegiate Soccer Association selected sophomore Steven McCarthy (Centerville/Kettering Alter) as its NCAA Division III Player of the Year, Dwight Burgess as its Coach of the Year, and also named junior goalkeeper John Snyder (Worthington/Thomas Worthington) to its First Team.

In 2007, the Capital University men’s soccer team returns 10 starters with some unfinished business as the Crusaders, unbeaten in their final six regular season games (4-0-2), fell short of the Ohio Athletic Conference regular season title on the final day of the season, then lost its first-ever home OAC Tournament game.
