I seriously cannot believe that in two months, I will be going home for the summer, completing my first year at Capital University!
I apologize for my lack of blogging. Spring break as well as Chi new member education has been taking up a lot of my time. I will definitely try harder to get blogs up when I can.
First off, I would like to congratulate Hillary Clinton on her win in the great state of Ohio! The race for the Democratic nomination is back on, Hillary's not giving up without a fight.
Before spring break, I was lucky enough to host an overnight in my dorm room. It was a wonderful experience, one I will definitely repeat in my years to come at Capital. I was so excited to see students who are accepted to Capital, because I know that in the fall, they will join our Cap family! It is certainly exciting to know that in a couple of months, I will have a class under me! I certainly hope all the students who were at the overnight enjoyed themselves, because I know I enjoyed having you all here. :)
Spring break wasnt the greatest for me. I was sick pretty much the whole time :( But, that's okay, because in about two more weeks, I'll be on break again! I swear we actually go to class here at Capital.:p
Speaking of classes, I have to schedule my fall semester soon. Whew!
Ohio's weather really makes me mad sometimes. I'm looking outside right now and reminiscing to Monday. It was so pretty and warm and sunny on Monday! And now its cold and slushy and rainy. Sigh. I think Mother Nature and Jack Frost are just having a constant war above Ohio, and it will just never stay the same climate for more than a day.
What else can I tell you? For some reason, I cant think of anything...
Oh, before I left for spring break, some of my sorority sisters and myself were in the Cru club eating, when all of a sudden, two jazz bands come in and start playing! It was a nice addition to our meal. I just thought it was a cool experience.
I guess I'll leave you with a word of advice, because that's all I can think of right now. Here we go: always put a timer on your cell or something for your laundry when you're in college. Seriously. You never know when you could get sidetracked by homework or friends or something else and your laundry ends up staying in the dryer for more than its supposed to. Like 5 hours. Not that I would know.
Love and happiness,
<3 heather
PS. The admissions office staff is really cool. Seriously, I'm not just saying that for a raise. I think it's really awesome that I can just talk to them about anything, and they all pull jokes and are really friendly with everyone. I've never really had that kind of working environment before, and I felt like it needed to be commended. Okay, that's all.
