Capital evaluates applications on a number of factors. Decisions are made on a rolling basis with admission letters sent every two weeks. To apply for admission please supply the following:
- Your transcripts and the following college prep requirements
- 4 English classes
- 3 math classes (including Algebra II)
- 3 science classes (including two lab sciences)
- 3 social studies classes
- 2 foreign language classes
- 1 fine arts class
- Your ACT or SAT test scores
- For admission to Capital University, you must take either the ACT or SAT. Our ACT code number is 3242, and our SAT code number is 1099. Make sure you enter the appropriate code number on your test form(s) so we can receive your scores.

Nursing Major Requirements

Music Major Requirements
You must audition with your primary instrument for acceptance into the Conservatory of Music. An audition application (PDF) is required after you are academically accepted to Capital.
Transfer Student Admission Requirements
For students interested in daytime classes, please submit your admission application three months before your desired start term. Click here to review the transfer requirements.
Home-Schooled Students
In lieu of the Counselor Information Form, please include three written recommendations: one from your instructor and two from non-relatives, such as:
- Pastors
- Advisors
- Supervisors from part-time jobs
