(AUSTINTOWN, Ohio) - Junior guard Ryan Wood (Pickerington/Pickerington Central) and sophomore guard Kristen Richardson (Oxford/Talawanda) picked up Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference honors.
Wood, a second team all-conference performer, was the third-leading scorer for the men's basketball team, averaging 12.6 points per game and leading the team with 64 made 3-pointers. He started all 30 games for the Crusaders, who won a program-record 24 games on the season and advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
Richardson led the women's basketball team in scoring this year, averaging 14.8 points per game. She also led the team in steals and was second in assists and third in rebounding, and was named to the All-OAC Second Team earlier this year.
