Easter Break is over and there are only 4 more weeks of classes!!! Wow my sophomore year sure has gone by fast! With the end of the school year coming to a close there are many exciting things happening to end the year with a bang! On Wednesday I will be going to go see “STOMP” at the Ohio Theater with my aunt and cousin; something I have wanted to see for some time now. The rhythmic sounds of brooms, basketballs, and trash cans can really soothe the soul and invigorate the mind (just using the big words to prepare for finals week!).
The intense studying will soon begin to prepare for the week long event known to all of the students as FINALS WEEK!!! I am hoping that my exams will not be too strenuous and I will be able to relax a little more than last semester when it seemed finals week would never end and Christmas break would never come, but now I have the summer to look forward to another awesome summer in North Carolina!!!
Last summer I had the best job in the world…I got paid to play!!! I got the opportunity to be a camp counselor for a church camp in North Carolina called Agape Kure Beach Ministries in 624 acres of woods and even a camp that is located on the beach!!!
It was so much fun, I made so many friends, and created memories to share and remember for a lifetime! I can’t wait to go back!
But, there is still the task at hand…school. And as much as I would like to go straight to camp with no worries, I am afraid that most of my spare time will consist of me trying to manage a social life and an academic life. I hope everyone is making their plans for summer and are able to manage their “lives” easier than me, and I will be sure to update everyone on the amazing time I have at the Ohio Theater and I hope everyone has plans in the near future to create memories to share with friends and family!!!
