So I finally cleared my desk off this weekend, by doing all the homework that I had put off for so long, that I found my computer again and decided to blog! Then, as soon as I turned all of it in, I was inundated with three new papers, two tests, and an editorial all due by Friday! I understand that it’s getting to the end of the year…but gesh!
So I’m loving the SG elections right now, we have one presidential candidate who believes he’s actually running for president of the United States! It’s a student government election, not the New Hampshire Primary! But I digress, because everyone reading this should remember to vote Ross for Senate!
Oh, I’m looking for summer internships right now. Something EVERYONE should do the summer before their junior year!!! I think I have a really great shot at an internship in Ohio Attorney General Mark Dann’s Office or Governor Ted Strickland’s Office. I would love to intern in the state legislature, but unfortunately, my legislators are both Republicans and I am most definitely not. I wouldn’t mind working for the GOP, but interestingly enough if you are registered as a Democrat you can not work for the Republicans, and vice-versa.UGH!
Finals are running right at us and I’m ready to turn around and flee! Luckily, we have the Pi Phi Epsilon Sorority formal in Oglebay (West Virginia) this weekend and the Kappa Sigma Upsilon Fraternity formal in Gatlinburg, Tennessee in two weekends!!!
I think that’s it for now…back to work I go!
