It's April already?!

Before I say anything else, I want to apologize for my severe lack of blogging... I've just been a busy, busy girl! Not to mention that my computer has decided to have a mind of it's own lately. :)
I have so much to talk about; I don't know where to start.

I'm currently running for Student Government in the sub-committee of Multicultural Affairs. My family thinks that my running for a position in this specific committee is funny because I am not "multicultural", but you have to go with what you're interested in, right? (That, and I didn't want to have anything to do with finances and money: I've never claimed to be good at math!) Elections are April 7-9, so if you're a Capital student, VOTE. If you're not, just wish us luck! haha

I just recently scheduled for Fall Semester as well, which of course should have taken 20 minutes, but took me two days because I feel the need to plan, plan & over-plan! It's just amazing that I am 1/4 of the way done with college already... the time just flew by! I pretty excited to become a sophomore & move on to bigger, better & inevitably harder classes. :)

I have also been taking classes to potentially become an RA (Resident Assistant) for next year. My class had to turn in all of our projects in last night during our last class, and we will find out who gets to be an RA sometime next week hopefully. Until then, I'll be biting my nails and crossing my fingers...

On a lighter note, the weather is so beautiful here today! It's been rainy and dreary the last few days, but today there's not a cloud in the sky. I just can't wait for summertime! :)

I also want to congratulate my baby sister, Corrie for the awards she received at her dance competition last weekend. She is a competition dancer for The Movement Center and her lyrical solo received a platinum rating and ranked #5 out of all solos performed that day in the senior category! (A platinum is the highest rating you can achieve.) I am very proud of you Corrie! :)

I guess that's all for now. Everyone go outside & enjoy the sunshine!

P.S.Seniors in high school: you have less than 3 months of high school left! :) (Just something to make you smile)
