There are only two more weeks of classes and it feels like classes just started! I do not know where the time went but that’s alright because summer is around the bend and I can’t wait to relax. Within the next three weeks (two weeks of classes and one week of finals) there are many different events on campus to end the year in an exciting fashion. This next week on Thursday and Saturday I will be performing in a one act musical called “I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change.” It’s a musical, comically depicting the problems and awkward situations that always occur with college relationships. There are three other one acts being performed this weekend as well, so it will be a good weekend for the arts at Capital! Then the always dreaded FINALS WEEK will be upon us, but it is nice to know that there will be free ice cream in the library to help relieve the stress of constant studying! Last semester the library provided pizza for the students and I hope it warms up to make the ice cream taste even better! Before that, on the last weekend on campus, the weekend before finals, University Programming will have its annual Spring Fest of ‘08!!! It will be exciting to see what kind of activities there will be to entertain us as we spend one more weekend with one another before we leave for the summer. So, the next time you hear from me I will give you an update on the success of the musical and maybe I will begin to feel the heat of FINALS WEEK a little earlier than anticipated, but until then stay warm….IN APRIL!?!
