(AUSTINTOWN, Ohio)-- Capital University junior women's tennis player Erin Gilliam (West Chester/Cincinnati Mt. Notre Dame) was named Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference by the conference's faculty athletics representatives for a second-straight season.
Gilliam, a Health and Fitness Management major with a 3.76 grade point average, had a 4-10 record mostly at No. 3 singles and a 3-8 mark at No. 2 doubles.
To be eligible for Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference, a student athlete must have at least a 3.25 cumulative GPA and be a key player in at least his second year of participation in the sport.
