Summer session at Capital University offers an opportunity to take a wide variety classes and earn credit during the summer. Most courses carry either three or four semester credit hours and many are transferable to other colleges and universities. The recommended course load for the Summer Session is 10 credit hours. Any enrollment greater than 18 credit hours requires the signature of the college dean.

Registration Information for Summer Session
The final registration deadline is the first day of class (May 11), but students are encouraged to register early.
All classes are subject to cancellation if enrollment is insufficient.
Former students of Capital must file an application for readmission before registration.
The Registrar's Office is open from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Room and board are available for the summer sessions for the following costs:
| $115 | per week for room. (This includes telephone charges.) Residents must supply their own linens, including pillows. Rooms are double occupancy. Meals may be purchased on a daily basis at posted locations in the Harry C. Moores Campus Center. Residence halls, most classrooms, dining hall, and the campus center are air-conditioned.
