The General Education Committee reports to the Undergraduate Faculty. It is charged with oversight of the General Education program. Responsibilities include evaluating courses for inclusion in the General Education listings, preparing curriculum issues for UGF consideration, development of Core faculty, and consultation with the Director of General Education. The GEC is constituted of one representative from each Working Group, and designated representatives from the Library, the School of Management, School of Nursing and the Conservatory of Music, and the Director of General Education (ex officio).
Matters for consideration by this committee should be submitted to the Chair.
