Capital University Announces 2008-2009 Choral Concert Schedule

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Capital University’s rich choral tradition continues this year with a host of musical events featuring the celebrated sounds of Chapel Choir, Choral Union, Women’s Chorus and Chordsmen. Following is a list of key concert dates, times and venues:

8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 3
Homecoming Concert, Mees Hall, 1 College and Main in Bexley
“A Choral Celebration” featuring the Chapel Choir, Choral Union, Women’s Chorus and Chordsmen.

7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 5
OCC High School Choral Festival Concert, Mees Hall

Thursday, Dec. 4, through Saturday, Dec. 6, at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 7, at 3:30 p.m.
2008 Christmas Festival “Go Tell It On The Mountain”
All performances will be in Mees Hall, 1 College and Main in Bexley. Tickets required. General tickets sales begin Nov. 3. For tickets or for more information, please call (614) 236-6411.

Chapel Choir Tour Concert, Mees Hall

8 p.m Friday, April 24
Alumni Weekend Chapel Choir Concert, Mees Hall

William Walton’s Belshazzar’s Feast, featuring the Chapel Choir, Choral Union, Women’s Chorus and Chordsmen, and the Capital University/Bexley Community Orchestra, Mees Hall. Tickets are required. For tickets or for more information, please call (614) 236-6411.
