DELAWARE, Ohio – Capital men’s golf finished 10th out of 11 teams at the 36-hole Ohio Wesleyan Fall Invitational on Tuesday at Oakhaven Golf Club.
The Crusaders carded a 325 as a team in the first round and a 323 in the second round to combine for a 648, which was 17 shots back of Washington & Jefferson in ninth place.
Junior Daniel Zaborsky (Dublin, Ohio/Dublin Scioto HS) had the two lowest rounds of the day for CU with a 74 followed by a 78 for a 152 to finish tied for 23rd place individually.
Classmate James Koon (Bexley, Ohio/Bexley HS) followed with a 165 to tie for 68th place while sophomore Nate Delong (Circleville, Ohio/Logan Elm HS) was tied for 75th place with a combined total of 169.
The duo of freshman Stephen Moller (London, Ohio/Madison Plains HS) and sophomore Jordan Flack (Chillicothe, Ohio/Huntington HS) shot a 170 and 171 respectively to finish in 78th and 79th place.
Freshman Cameron Baker (Lima, Ohio/Spencerville HS) carded a 162 to tie for 59th place while playing as an individual.
Capital will return to action on Sunday, Sept. 21 with the John Carroll Fall Invitational.
