Hey everyone, I have a lot to update you on! :)
It’s officially the fifth week of school and classes are in full-swing. I can’t believe that midterms will be coming up in a few short weeks. I guess time flies when you’re having fun!
I’ve been busy not only with my classes and schoolwork this semester, but with my on-campus activities as well. I am a Resident Assistant in Cotterman Hall, and my job definitely keeps me busy! But I enjoy all of my residents and love to interact with them. It’s definitely proving to be a rewarding experience. I also made Capital’s Dance Team this year, which is really exciting. Our first performance is Saturday afternoon at the Homecoming football game, and I’m beginning to get nervous! (Wish us luck!) I am also a Spanish tutor in Capital’s tutoring center on campus, so I’ve been busy helping students with their Spanish classes and getting paid to do it! :)
Something very exciting happened on Capital’s campus on Monday. If you have not heard already, Presidential candidates John McCain and Sarah Palin stopped by campus Monday and spoke to over 8,000 people that came to see them. I have honestly never seen so many people on campus at one time in my whole life! It was a great experience to see a Presidential candidate on my college campus, and I will eventually add some pictures that I took while they were here.
I think that’s about it for now. As always, if you have questions, feel free to leave a comment!
Enjoy the fall weather!
Caitlin
