SNYDER'S GOAL LEADS MEN'S SOCCER PAST MUSKINGUM

NEW CONCORD, Ohio - Senior Joey Snyder (Worthington, Ohio/Thomas Worthington HS) scored the game-winning goal with 10 minutes as Capital University's men's soccer team recorded a 2-1 victory at Muskingum College Saturday in Ohio Athletic Conference play.

After a goal by sophomore Lewis Black (Auckland, New Zealand/St. Peter's College) in the 22nd minute, Muskingum tied the score just 29 seconds later. The score remained tied for the next 57 minutes until Snyder's goal, which was assisted by Brian Zembower (Centerville, Ohio/Centerville HS).

Senior John Snyder (Worthington, Ohio/Thomas Worthington HS) recorded five saves to pick up the win in goal.

The Crusaders improved to 8-4-0 (2-1 OAC) and start a three-game homestand at 4 p.m. Tuesday against Wilmington College.
