Why I like Capital: There is a genuine feeling of community on campus, people know your name and say hello. And Capital's location is the best of both worlds-a great, small campus tucked away in a suburban neighborhood with all the advantages and opportunities of a major metropolitan area!

What do you enjoy most about being an admission counselor? I love meeting with students and their families to talk about what's important to them in the college search and helping them discover all the possibilities that are available.


Best tip for students visiting campus: Ask as many questions as possible and make sure you ask to see anything that might interest you (residence halls, music facilities, athletic facilities, professors, etc.)


Tips for students applying to Capital: Work hard to get all your application information sent in by late fall, early December. Be sure to go on a second campus visit to your top schools, this will help you compare them and decide which campus will really feel like home for your next four years!

Favorite food at the Capital Court: I'm a big fan of the all-you-can-eat ice cream!
