Hey everyone!
The countdown begins: 3 school days until Thanksgiving break and 12 more days until winter break (including finals week). I can't believe how quickly this semester has flown by! With winter break upon us shortly, however, it also means studying for finals, finishing 5 page Spanish papers (no, I'm not kidding!) and 10 page literature reviews for political science. Things are getting stressful very quickly, but never fear: the Holidays and the yummy food that comes with them are on the horizon.
As a member of the dance team at Capital, we are currently learning 8 new dances that we will perform at men's and women's basketball games. Our practices are really tough sometimes, but I know that I don't take enough initiative to get myself into shape, so I'm glad that someone does! haha What can I say, my idea of a good day is watching disney movies in bed with a good chipotle burrito! :)
I've also been traveling quite a bit these last few weeks. Two weekends ago I went down to Cincinnatti to visit my best friend for the weekend and get some Christmas shopping done (which I did!) and this past weekend, my boyfriend and I went to Pittsburgh to visit my family and eat some amazing homemade spaghetti made by my uncles. I have to say; traveling without an "adult" with me makes me feel very very old, but I guess that's what I get for growing up, huh?
Well, I guess that's about all for now. I hope that everyone has a great Thanksgiving next week! Please feel free to leave comments or questions or you an email me at cladie@capital.edu
Love,
Caitlin
