Help Provide Capital Scholarships by Shopping at Kroger

Article Body
The Capital University Alumnae Chapter has an easy way for you to help raise scholarship money for Capital students through the Kroger Neighborhood Reward Program. Your Kroger purchases can help provide funding for the Legacy Scholarship when you use a gift card purchased through CUAC to buy your groceries, pharmacy items or gasoline. The initial gift card cost is $5, which is the preloaded amount it comes with. Reload your card (using your credit card, cash, or check) before you start shopping. When your cashier finishes ringing up your order, just swipe your gift card like you would a credit card and pay for your purchases. This is a gift card that you don't throw away; when the balance gets low, reload the card. Every time CUAC reaches $5,000 or more in reloads, the group will receive a 5 percent rebate check. The rebate will go toward funding Legacy Scholarships worth $1,000 each for current students whose parent(s) also went to Capital. If you would like your Kroger purchases to help CUAC raise scholarship money, contact Toni Duke at tduke@capital.edu for more information.
