Hello 2009!!
It’s about time you got here…
:D
And hello to everyone else! Sorry it’s been so long since I’ve wrote something. Life at the end of the semester last year was CRAZY! Between classes, work, and all of my other activities, I barely had time to think. However, I did get all my work done and was able to pull off fantastic grades, which is always a plus. :D
Today was the first day back to classes for most students and the beginning of a new semester. It’s always nice to start a new semester because all of your classes are different and you get the chance to shake things up a bit. I got really lucky this semester and ended up with only one class on Monday and Wednesday, so this gives me extra time to work in the Admissions Office (something I really love!).
This is going to be a really busy month for me and I’m extremely excited for it! Not only are we back to classes but, for Greek Life, Recruitment starts this month. As a first year member of Pi Phi, this is my very first recruitment and I’m really excited to meet all of the people who are interested in Greek Life! I love meeting new people, so this is the perfect opportunity for it! :D
Also this month, I am going on a family reunion cruise to the Caribbean!! I’ll be honest, I’m excited for my cruise, but I have to miss class, which makes me sad. I really enjoy going to class and I love the classes that I’m taking this semester. However, don’t worry; I will make sure I enjoy some of the sunshine for you!
To whoever is reading this, I wish you a great year! And I hope your new school year starts out as well as mine!
Now, I’m going to end this blog on a positive note with 5 quotes about positive thinking. :D
1) Do not let circumstances influence your thoughts and moods. By rising over them mentally, you will eventually rise over them materially.

2) A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort.
--Herm Albright--
3) Instead of thinking about what you're missing, try thinking about what you have that everyone else is missing.
--Unknown--
4) Think like a queen. A queen is not afraid to fail. Failure is another steppingstone to greatness.
--Oprah Winfrey—
5) Don not anticipate trouble or worry about what may never happen. Keep in the sunlight.
--Benjamin Franklin--
