Capital University offers a variety of programs for students who wish to pursue the field of history.
Students may choose the straight history major , or the history major with secondary education . The latter program leads to licensure in Integrated Social Studies, which certifies the student to teach grades 7-12.
The History Department also offers a minor in public history/historic preservation.
