Modern Languages

A student majoring in the modern languages is using state-of-the-art technology resources in Capital University's Modern Languages Laboratory to enhance her language proficiency.

Spanish, French, German, Japanese, Russian, Chinese, Latin

Our goal is to help students acquire the linguistic and cultural training they need to interact in an appropriate manner with native speakers of the language they are learning, read and write about literature and other relevant materials written in the foreign langauge, and realize vocational goals. We also encourage students to view themselves as citizens of the world and understand how one culture may be different from, while not being inferior to, another. Take a look at what our students are doing.
