Admission Requirements for the Teacher Education Program
To be accepted as a teacher education student, you must complete an application form (available in the education department office). You must also earn the following minimum scores on the Praxis I: Academic Skills Assessment or the ACT:

And you must:
- Successfully complete EDUC 211 and/or EDUC 221 and/or MUS 242 with a grade of C or above
- Achieve and maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.500 or above
- Maintain consistent academic progress
- Earn a C or above in mathematics and oral and written communication general education courses
- Demonstrate appropriate professional attributes and dispositions through field-based and clinical experiences
- Verify good moral character
