Random Ramblings

It’s Spring Break, but where is Spring? While my fellow Capital students are off somewhere warm and sunny, it’s still cold here in Columbus. Cabin fever is definitely setting in, and I’m ready for some warm sunshine!!

So, are you ready for some updates?

Well, dance team is over (for me at least…). We performed at about 10 men’s and women’s basketball games, including a kick routine that I helped choreograph! Our last activity is to perform for the Orchesis show on March 14th and 15th, but I will be in Pittsburgh that weekend to see family, so I won’t be able to be there (Orchesis is another dance group on campus that puts on a sort of ‘recital’ every Spring). But I wish my girls the best of luck and I can’t wait for next season to come! On another note, if anyone reading this is interested in dance team, feel free to leave comments.

Residence life is basically amazing. I really think that I’m the luckiest RA ever; my residents are amazing girls and I love them all! I’ve been staying on campus over break so that I could work in the Admission Office during break, and I really miss them studying in the lounge, bursting into random musical songs and serenading everyone from the shower! You know who you are (Kylie). haha

My 20th birthday is coming up soon (March 18th). Some days, I just can’t believe that I won’t be a teenager anymore, and even scarier, I’ll soon be a junior in college! Where has time gone? The other day I was talking to Sarah Jewell, a fellow blogger, and we couldn’t believe that we’re halfway to our 5 year high school reunions!

So basically, my spring break consisted of working in the Admission Office and giving tours all day and getting all of the homework done that is due next week. (3 papers and 2 projects, to be exact.) Needless to say, I’ve been quite busy! But I’m looking forward to getting back to classes and a regular schedule and finishing off the rest of my sophomore year.

Anyway, I think that I’ve rambled enough for one blog. Again, if you have any questions, feel free to leave me a comment or email cladie@capital.edu.
