Dr. Lynn Dailey is the Moor Endowed Chair in Business and Economics and a professor in the School of Management and Leadership at Capital University. She teaches in both the undergraduate and MBA programs. Her areas of expertise include marketing strategy, marketing plans, business plans, customer behavior, customer research and business skills training. She earned a B.S. in Business Administration from The Ohio State University in 1993 where she majored in business economics and an MBA from Ohio University in 1995. She received her Ph.D. in Business Administration from the University of Kentucky in 2001 in Marketing.
Dr. Dailey’s industry experience includes positions in a wide variety of marketing-related roles ranging from sales to webmaster. For the past 12 years, she has been engaged in business consulting and training for national clients, including Frigidaire Appliances and Fortune Brands; several non-profits, including Edison Welding Institute and Deaf Initiatives; the government, including the Ohio Department of Development and the Ohio Bureau of Disability Determination; as well as many small businesses. She also founded a local ACT test preparation business, The ACT Review, llc.
Dr. Dailey has published in the Journal of Business Research and Journal of Marketing for Higher Education and has presented her research at numerous national conferences including the American Marketing Association and Association for Consumer Research. Her current research interests are in the field of consumer research and marketing strategy.
