"We are capable of going further in the NCAA Tournament this year and winning it all in the next three years. Coach Jeffers is such a strong believer in all of us, and her confidence has inspired the team to strive for big things. I see myself being a major offensive contributor to the team this year. I want to improve on getting myself and my teammates better shots. My goal is to become a better overall player."

"Making more time for studying will help me improve my grades. There are a lot of options with my major, such as being a personal trainer. I like to work out all the time, which is one of the reasons I decided on this major. I want grades that I know I worked hard for and that I can be proud of."

"Being one of the only freshmen to play in every game last year, I feel like I can help the upcoming freshmen coming in to adjust to college right away. I didn't feel like I needed to be a vocal leader last year, but I think now is a perfect time to lead because my team knows that I am willing to do whatever it takes to win. Daniele (Sanna), Heather (McAlpin), and Caitlin (Elsass) were the leaders last year, and they really showed me what it takes to be a captain on this team."

"This summer, I am an assistant coach on my friend's high school team. I'm also talking to other youth teams in the area. I talk to them about hard work and how to get the most of their abilities. It's fun to talk to kids about you can accomplish your goals by working hard and doing your best."
