This weekend was fun, so I decided to write about it. On Friday, my roommate and I went to Ohio Dominican to visit a friend of ours from high school named Leah. She's a freshman there, and she really loves it! She took us on a tour of her dorm room, etc and introduced us to a few of her friends. We left her campus not long after that, and brought her back to Capital to do the very same thing!
She hung out in our dorm room for a while, and I introduced her to a few of my friends. Leah has an amazing voice and will sing anywhere to anyone, so I made certain that she became acquainted Jerran, who I met during Smooth Transitions at Cap, and also loves to sing. They hit it off so well that they performed a duet together..right there in the middle of our dorm room! It doesn't take much to make me happy, so needless to say..I was thrilled! :-)
Later I left campus with a group of my girls to check out the icebreaker at Otterbein. Things went well initially, and we all had a pretty good time until a couple of people got a bit out of hand and they had to cancel the event an hour early. :-( We left Otterbein and stopped by to visit at Antwan's, he's a junior here at Cap and he invited a bunch of us over, then we headed back to campus. It was late and I was REALLY tired, so I went straight to bed as soon as I got to my dorm.
The next morning, my roommate and I woke up, her boyfriend came to visit, and the three of us headed off to Otterbein for the game! We met both Leah and another friend of ours from high school there. His name is Robby and he goes to Otterbein. We taunted each other back and forth throughout the game..and while Cap maintained the lead for the majority of the time, Otterbein came out with a win at the end. :-( But..the boys played hard, and there's always the next one! :-) Unfortunately, Robby got the last laugh on Saturday. Here's a pic of he and I (we're both wearing Cap and Otterbein shirts..I told him that was as bad as OSU and Michigan!) Hope everyone else had a fabulous weekend! I'll write more soon!
