Career Advancement for Registered Nurses (RN)
If you are a registered nurse (RN) and would like to complete a degree in the science of nursing, you can choose from several options in Capital's School of Nursing:
You're thinking about changing careers and getting into nursing. But you already have a degree and you don't want to spend another few years getting a second (or third) degree. Now you don't have to.
The Capital Nursing Accelerated Program (C-NAP) is a pre-licensure bachelor of science in nursing degree program designed for people who have completed a baccalaureate or higher degree in a non-nursing field.
The program packs a complete nursing degree into 20 months of full-time study. This means that the length of the program start to finish is shorter than a traditional undergraduate program, but the outcome is the same. The C-NAP even includes a third of the classes you would need to complete a master in science in nursing. Continuing your education and advancing is that much easier once you have settled into your new nursing career.
