Linley Vermillion was tabbed as the Ohio Athletic Conference Women's Soccer Player of the Week on Monday.
Vermillion (Englewood, Ohio/Northmont HS) faced 26 total shots and stopped all 13 on goal in a 1-0 shutout victory over Kenyon on Thursday. The junior allowed a Crusader goal in the 10th minute of action to hold up in a non-conference road victory. Overall this season, Vermillion leads CU with two shutouts, a 0.33 goals against average and a .933 save percentage.
