Keirsten Moore, Ph.D. is Assistant Dean and Associate Professor of Leadership and Management in the School of Management and Leadership at Capital University in Columbus, Ohio. She earned her MLHR and Ph.D. in Labor and Human Resources from The Ohio State University, and her B.S. in Business Administration from Miami University. She has been certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) by the HR Certification Institute of the Society for Human Resource Management since 2001. Her teaching interests include: organizational behavior, human resource management, employment law, and career development. Dr. Moore has published research and presented on the topics of workaholism, the influence of personality on team performance, sexual harassment, and assessment of student learning. She is also the faculty advisor for Capital’s student chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). Prior to her academic career, she was a banking operations manager. In her spare time, she enjoys watching her two sons play baseball, and traveling to warm weather destinations.
