Sherry Peck is chair of the Leadership & Management Department and an Associate Professor at Capital University. Sherry’s teaching responsibilities have included: Organizational Behavior, Business Strategy, Conflict and Negotiation, and International Strategic Management. Sherry loves to teach, and has been voted Teacher of Year multiple times.
Dr. Peck has consulted with a number of local organizations in the areas of strategy and conflict management. Recently she has worked with Nationwide Insurance, Elford Construction, Jewish Family Services and the Ohio Department of Natural Resources.
Sherry earned a doctorate in organizational behavior, with a minor in strategy from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University. She received her Ph.D. in 1993. Sherry has published articles on negotiations and teaching organizational behavior. She has been quoted by Business First on a variety of topics. She has also edited an anthology of Organizational Behavior readings.
Prior to embarking on an academic career, Sherry worked for Chicago area Fortune 500 companies in both human resources and information systems. Her corporate career was launched with an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago. Sherry also earned her B.A. from the University of Chicago.
