David Schwantes is an Executive Professor of Marketing in Capital University’s School of Management. He has taught graduate, undergraduate and professional development courses at Capital for more than 20 years.
Schwantes has an extensive professional background in marketing. He was vice president of marketing for Worthington Foods and vice president of customer strategies for Lord, Sullivan & Yoder Advertising and Public Relations.
In addition to teaching, Schwantes has a marketing research and branding consultancy under the identity of b4 Branding. Among his clients are NAPA Auto Parts, Cooper Tires, United Bank, Commodore Financial, Nationwide Retirement Solutions, Easton Town Center, the Arena District, OSU Medical Center, Ohio Travel and Tourism, VisitFlorida, Worthington Industries and McDonald’s.
